Common questions about writing information

 
Question no 1:
I would like to write information about my link. How do I do this?
 
Answer:
 
Mark the current link in the control window, right click it and select Information about Link.
 
 
Question no 2:
What is difference between the different information boxes?
 
Answer:
 
There are several different information boxes in Link-it. An information button displays information about the actual Link list. This is where you can find information about e.g. the person who created the Link list. This button is placed to the right at the top on the control.
 
Sometimes a small "i" can be found next to the links in the control. This is where you can find information about this actual word or information about the Sign Language in the link.
 
On the bookmark tab you can find yet another information symbol. This is where you find information about the bookmark list.

How do I add information to my Link list?

Answer:
 
1. Select the tab on the control so that the required link is displayed in the control.
 
2. Mark the link in the control and right click it.
 
3. Select "Information about Link" from the displayed short-cut menu.
 
4. Enter the required information and click "Save".

Question no 5:

How do I add information to my bookmark lists?

Answer:

1. Click the bookmark tab. This is the tab to the right on the control.

2. Click the "i" button to the left on the bookmark tab.

3. Enter you information.

4. Click the "Save" button.

Note! The person who created the bookmark list you are using may have decided to protect it from changes. In this case you cannot enter any information about the bookmark list.

Question no 6:
How do I add information to my bookmarks?

Answer:

1. Click on the bookmark tab so show the bookmarks in the control.

2. Right click the bookmark and select "Information about bookmark" from the short-cut menu.

3. Enter your information.

4. Click "Save".

Note! The person who created the bookmark list you are using may have chosen to protect it from any changes. In this case you are not allowed to add any information about the bookmark.
