Question no 3:
We are still not clear in terms of the copyrights of any material we produce using your programme. I mean will you still have the copyrights of the material that we produce, or is it all about putting a quote such as "This Dictionary was produced using Link-It Create..." etc.
Answer:
If you buy a production license of Link-It Create from us you may produce bilingual materials and distribute these materials for payment or free of any charges as you like. When you buy the commercial license you commit yourself to send one copy of each product you produce and distribute to us in Sweden. (Please look at the document below) You can produce two kinds of materials with Link-It Create. That is:
- Linklist, the user then needs to buy Link-It Use or Link-It Create from us in Sweden in order to use your material. With Linklists the user get full access to all the functionality that Link-It can offer.
- Linked Book, a runtime version of your Linklist. The user does not need to have access to the program Link-it. A Linked book only let you use some of the functions, for example you can not change screen mode, not make bookmarks, not add information etc. You as a producer chose in what screen mode the Linked book would have.
When you produce a Linklist as well as a Linked book the program will automatically insert the information about copyrights, you do not need to think about that. We appreciate if you add the information you suggest "This Dictionary was produced using Link-It Create." in the printed information that you use in connection with the products (covers, marketing etc.)
