Link-it

Sign Language has now made an entrance into the computer! We have produced an English version of a much wanted and flexible computer program that will simplify working with text and Sign Language in the computer.

With Link-it you are able to make bilingual materials for comparing languages for deaf people who are learning the written language as well as for hearing people who want to learn Sign Language.

You can produce "dictionaries" in Sign Language, write descriptive texts with explanations in Sign Language, subtitle video films or whatever you need.

Link-it can be used for professional production of bilingual materials as well as it can be used as an everyday tool by teachers, students, interpreters and researchers.

Link-it Create is a combined create-and-use tool with which you are able to link text and digital videos in many different ways.

Apart from this complete production tool there is Link-it Use, a separate user version which can show the links between text and videos, so called Link lists, that have been created by you or someone else with the Create tool.

When you start Link-it, you'll find one link list already opened, the Introduction. This shows, in Sign Language, a brief explanation on how the program works. In the menu you can choose between either American or International Sign Language.

For the Swedish market we produce pedagogically designed Link Lists.
We also produce Linked Books. These are simple versions of link lists that can be used in computers that do not have the Link-it program.

You can produce your own link lists and linked books with Link-it Create!
If you are interested in producing commercial materials, choose Link-it Create with a licence for commercial production.
